Miro is a contributor and leader for several open source projects and co-leads TypeFox, a company specialized in engineering tools and open source technology. He started to get involved in open source development while researching graph layout algorithms and their application to graphical modeling at Kiel University. Miro has been contributing to open source communities by kickstarting new projects, giving presentations at several events, and giving architectural guidance. Innovation, strategy and community work are at the heart of his interest.
